  I had my front car speakers installed here almost 2 years ago, since then the connection has been intermittent. Today I popped off the door panel (which was covered in scratches from them being removed previously by halfords) the inside was full of rust! The adapter which splits the single wire into two for the tweeter had also rusted and water was seeping from it! Now, I'm confident it was halfords improper installation which has caused this as my back speakers have always worked perfectly which are manufacture fitted. I'm absolutely gutted that someone who is "trained" to do this task could perform so poorly. I bought this car brand new and after 3 years find out is it full of rust from a shoddy fitting. I'm furious. Never be buying anything from any halfords after this.
